🦌Instead of a car, a parked deer! An extraordinary finding was discovered by residents of the city of Yakutsk, in the Russian Far East. The animal was tied to a pole near a residential building and, apparently, was waiting for its owner.
By the way, it is abnormally cold in Yakutsk this winter. But people there are used to the frost. Yakutsk is the capital of Yakutia. Six indigenous peoples of the Russian North live in this region. Most of them, like their ancestors, raise deer and take care of them. Learn more about life in Yakutia and local traditions in the film Eric's List. Russia's coldest region.

🇮🇳🇷🇺 India and Russia celebrate BrahMos Aerospace 25th Birthday
📍On this day in 1998, a Russian-Indian agreement was signed to create a joint company for the development and production of a supersonic cruise missile.
🔹The enterprise was founded as a joint venture between India's DRDO and NPO Mashinostroyenia of Russia (NPOM) and was named after the Indian river Brahmaputra and the Russian river Moscow. BrahMos Aerospace aims to produce supersonic cruise missiles that can be launched from submarines, ships, aircraft, and ground platforms.
🔹The 1st launch of this type of rocket took place in 2001. All three branches of the Indian Armed Forces use various versions of the missile. On December 29, 2022, the Indian Air Force successfully tested BrahMos air-launched missiles at extended ranges from a Su-30 MKI air superiority fighter.

❗️ The West is lying about what really happened at Nord Stream pipelines: Russian FM Lavrov
📍On September 26, 2022, three of the four strings of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines were damaged after an underwater blast. Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh earlier revealed that US Navy divers planted explosives to destroy the Nord Stream pipelines during NATO Baltops exercises last summer.
According to Hersh, US president Joe Biden decided to go on with the operation out of fear that Germany could lift sanctions, imposed against Russia over its special military operation in Ukraine.

🇷🇺 Check out Russia's FM Lavrov key statements on Wednesday:
▫️The purpose of the West's hybrid war against Moscow is to turn Russia into a rogue state;
▫️Attempts to isolate Russia have failed;
▫️Russia contributed to decolonisation processes in Asia and Africa;
▫️New international framework should be determined on a fairly universal basis of a balance of interests, as required by the UN Charter.
