❗️Kremlin Reacts To Blast At Residential Building In Ukraine

Ukraine is to blame for the deadly blast at a residential building in the city of Dnepr on Saturday that killed dozens of people and even some Kiev officials have said so, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

“The Russian Armed Forces don’t target residential buildings or social infrastructure facilities. The attacks are only aimed at military targets,” Peskov told journalists.

“You’ve seen the conclusions of the representatives of the Ukrainian side, which say that this tragedy was the result of the actions of the air defense missiles,” he pointed out.

According to the latest data from the Ukrainian Emergencies Services, at least 36 people were killed and 75 others in the explosion, which delivered heavy damage to the building.

🇷🇺🧬🇮🇳 Russian and Indian scientists, representatives of universities and relevant ministries took part in the 12th meeting of the Russian-Indian Working Group on Science and Technology, which was held in an online format.

The participants of the Working Group discussed the implementation of the inter-ministerial Roadmap for Science, Technology and Innovation cooperation between Russia and India, prepared by the decision of the previous meeting.

The sides exchanged information on such promising areas of cooperation as biotechnology, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, cyber-physical systems, oceanography, medical sciences, fundamental and applied physics.

🔹The actual dynamics of the Russian economy as of the year end proved to be better than many expert forecasts.

🔹We managed to reduce the unemployment rate to the lowest level in modern history. At the same time, the Government is to stimulate employment and real wage growth in the regions and cities where troubled sectors of the economy are concentrated.

🔹It is necessary to maintain operation of production facilities that catered primarily to foreign markets, retain their staff and boost their development by stimulating domestic demand.

🔹The inflation rate reached 11.9% as of the end of 2022, which is lower than predicted by the Central Bank and the Government. In the second quarter of 2023, it may drop below 4%, which is of crucial importance for people's real income and the economy in general.

Production Of Iconic Russian Rifle Kicks Off In India

A joint Russian-Indian joint enterprise to manufacture the upgraded Kalashnikov AK-203, has produced its first batch of the assault rifles, Rosoboronexport, the Russian state agency for international arms trade, announced Tuesday.

The enterprise, Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited, is set to supply India’s military and aims to achieve “100% localization” of rifle production in the future, according to the agency.

“The Korwa Ordnance Factory in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, produced the first batch of 7.62mm Kalashnikov AK-203 assault rifles. The start of deliveries to the Indian army is expected to begin shortly,” Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheev said in a statement, lauding the “reliable partnership” between Moscow and New Delhi.
