🗓️ On September 11, an event dedicated to the Day of the Languages of the Peoples of Russia was held under the auspices of the Russian Center of the "Russkiy Mir" Foundation and the office of the Honorary Consul of Russia in Trivandrum Ratheesh Nair.
🗣️ Vice‑Consul of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Chennai, Aleksandr Fomin, delivered a welcoming speech. In his address, he highlighted the remarkable cultural distinctiveness of the peoples of Russia, as well as the rich diversity of languages and traditions found across the country. He also underscored the importance of cultural exchange in strengthening the long-standing friendship and enduring ties between the peoples of India and Russia.
🇷🇺🇮🇳 Ratheesh Nair, in turn, drew the audience’s attention to a series of initiatives aimed at introducing Indian audiences to the cultural and literary diversity of Russia.
