🇷🇺🇮🇳 On February 27, the Russian Embassy in India hosted a reception on the occasion of the Defender of the Fatherland Day.

⁠Rear Admiral Brijinder Singh Sodhi, Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (Policy & Plans), Indian Navy, attended the function as the Chief Guest. Among the guests were senior officials of the Government of India, ambassadors and military attaches of friendly countries, business representatives, members of the Indian public, scientific and cultural community, media, Russian compatriots.

☝🏻 In his welcoming address, Ambassador of Russia to India Denis Alipov emphasized the historic role of the Russian Armed Forces in safeguarding sovereignty, peace and freedom, ensuring the security of the country and its people, as well as noted glorious traditions and unparalleled technical level and combat experience of the Russian Armed Forces. The Ambassador expressed confidence in the steady development of the multifaceted and mutually beneficial Russian-Indian strategic partnership, including in the military and defence spheres.

Guests were greeted by the Indian Air Force Band who played Russian and Indian music.

🇷🇺🇮🇳Only three days left until the unique performance "Russian National Dance Show" of the Russian National Ballet "Kostroma" will be presented on March 3 in New Delhi!

For the first time, the program will feature the composition "Jayati Jaya Mama Bharatam" performed by Indian dancers, which represents 45 dance forms from different regions of the country.
