Ukraine Dissident CRACKDOWN - Opposition Parties, Individuals Banned Or Silenced
After last month’s ban of pro-Russian Opposition Platform - For Life Party, Ukrainian authorities have reportedly been silencing a wide range of individuals for apparent treason under a Law passed in March.
Rada Bill 7116 allows police to arrest anyone for collaboration or sedition with life sentences the maximum punishment, including mayors of towns who surrendered after being deserted by Ukrainian forces as Russian troops advanced.
A blogger in Nikolaev was shot dead in April after being accused of passing information to Russian officials, after which Mayor Vitaly Kim claimed Ukraine had the best cybersecurity in the world that meant “nobody will be able to escape justice.”

Nothing To Say To West If They Want Russian Defeat On Battlefield - Lavrov
Speaking outside the G20 summit in Bali, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov attacked Western countries’ bellicose rhetoric claiming it made negotiations futile. Here’s what else he had to say:
▪️If Western countries want to "defeat Russia on the battlefield" in the situation around Ukraine, then there is nothing to talk about with them.
▪️If the West wants to withdraw Ukrainian grain, it is only necessary to force Kiev to de-mine ports.
▪️The US is forcing Europe and the rest of the world to abandon cheap energy resources and switch to much more expensive ones.
▪️The fact western countries didn’t use the G20 for the purposes for which it was created are obvious.

Speaking to the press following a #G20 FM meeting in Bali, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov once again decried the West's approach to the Ukrainian conflict, such as filling the country with arms. He noted that it's all about ideology rather than concerns for the people of #Ukraine

On July 7-8, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov took part in the annual Foreign Ministers’ meeting of the #G20 member-states held in Bali, Indonesia.
As part of Jakarta's current G20 presidency, special attention on the diplomatic track was paid to two key issues: strengthening of multilateral cooperation among states and joint response to challenges in food and energy security.
Despite the confrontation fomented by the West, in general, the emphasis was placed on the need to search for a "common denominator" in solving social and economic problems.
Thesis on the need to promote a polycentric structure of the world order and the democratization of global governance, a broader engagement of dialogue on multilateral platforms to solve the problems of developing countries received wide support.
There were sober assessments of objective causes of economic shocks that are multifactorial in nature, including inflation provoked by the West amid the coronavirus pandemic, destabilization of cross-border supply chains and an escalation of the geopolitical situation. Many partners gave a clear signal that it is unacceptable to isolate Russia and that unilateral sanctions have negative consequences.
Sergei Lavrov's speech outlined the basic approaches to building up cooperation among nations on an equal footing and based on the UN Charter and international law, the effective use of the potential of the G20 as a representative social and economic forum. In light of the West's distorted interpretation of the events in Ukraine, the causes of the crisis in this country in the wake of the 2014 coup d'état, which happened with a direct intervention of the US and the EU, were explained in detail.
Russia reiterated its readiness to continue to make a substantial contribution to ensuring access to food and energy resources.
The ongoing diversification of the markets for fuel and energy products, plans to increase the supply of grains were outlined.
There were also intensive contacts at the bilateral level. The Russian Foreign Minister had separate meetings with his counterparts from Asia, Africa and Latin America.
The ministerial meeting became an important milestone on the path to the G20 Summit in Bali on November 15-16.

🕯 The hand of a criminal cut short the life of an outstanding statesman who headed the Government of Japan for a long time, and who accomplished a lot towards the development of good relations between our countries.
We maintained regular contacts with Shinzo Abe, and his wonderful personal and professional qualities were in full evidence on these occasions. All those who knew him will always retain the bright memory of this magnificent person in their hearts.

📣 International journalists call on Western authorities to save lives of children in Donbass
A new interactive map shows children's names killed in Donbass by Western weapons supplied to Ukraine.
🇩🇪 German journalist Alina Lipp personally witnesses civilians dying in Donbass each day:
💬 “We are under fire here every day, and the shelling is not at all for military purposes. Most of the men are at the front now. There are also women, children, elderly people here. And so I ask myself: why is the West still sending weapons here? Why is it financing these killings of civilians?”
🇪🇸 Spanish political scientist Liu Sivaya also works in Donetsk as a war correspondent:
💬 “There are already 412 fallen children in Donbas victims of NATO weapons. Their names are on this map of the truth and their number continues to grow daily… Let’s not turn a blind eye, let’s stop this carnage, let’s demand that they stop... No more weapons, no more innocent victims. No more dead children in Donbass!”

#Opinion by Maria Zakharova:
💬 Maria Zakharova: Blinken: Russia was isolated at G20, and Lavrov left prematurely.
This is the same Secretary of State Blinken who said that everyone who knows the president, ”knows that he speaks very clearly and very deliberately for himself”.
It is you, Mr Blinken, who drove yourself into self-isolation by failing to attend a number of G20 events, where few people even noticed your absence. Now you’re making up stories to justify your own failure.
As for us, we have been told how you personally have been asking everyone to isolate Russia. Everyone you have asked is laughing behind your back because they know that your Administration is doomed to an ignominious end.

❗️❗️Read the extracts from the statement of Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Alexander Volgarev “To the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture”, (meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, 7 July 2022):
📣Torture and other inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment is one of the most serious types of human rights violations. The sad and dishonorable leadership in this matter continues to be maintained by #US
🔸In #US "secret prisons", such "enhanced interrogation methods" as "imitation of drowning", forced stripping naked, preventing sleep, and so on were used against detainees. Similar methods are used against the prisoners of the notoriously known prison in Guantanamo
🔸Our compatriots, being in the hands of American justice, most often fraudulently through third countries, are also subjected to inhumane treatment. Without explaining the reasons, they are placed in a punishment cells, denied medical care and necessary medicines
🔺The situation in Ukraine is of particular concern. Arbitrary arrests, incommunicado detention, torture and ill-treatment of civilians have persisted there over the past eight years
🔺The perpetrators responsible for the violence on 2 May 2014 in the Odessa House of Trade Unions, where people were burned alive in front of law enforcement officials, are still unpunished
🔴Horrible, chilling footage and videos, which picture torture and murder of detained Russian soldiers in Ukraine, have been seen by the whole world. While there are no evidence to the contrary. Apart from empty words about some „credible” testimonies
