Oil Could Top $300-$400 a Barrel if Price Cap Idea Implemented - Medvedev
Russia’s former president warned that oil prices could explode should Japan’s price cap proposal be put into practice. (Reuters)
Commenting on the proposal, put forward by Japanese PM Fumio Kishida, Dmitri Medvedev said Japan “would have neither oil nor gas from Russia" should it go forward.
Medvedev also said Japan would be barred from the Sakhalin-2 LNG project.

NATO Base in Finland Would See Russian Defense Ministry Response - Kremlin
Russia’s response to a possible NATO base in Finland would be outlined by the military, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday, after Finnish media claimed the mayor of a city close to the border wanted an increased military presence there.
“We have discussed on many occasions that relevant plans do exist [in the defense ministry] and that work is underway to ensure our security,” Peskov said.
Last week, Finnish broadcaster Yle cited Lappeenranta Mayor Kimmo Jarva as saying that his city and the entire region could benefit from an inflow of investment after the country ascends to NATO.

❗️Every resident of Donbass knows what this sacred high ground means to us. As the enemy wanted to destroy the memorial, to wipe off our memory from the face of earth. It did not work out thanks to the current Donbass defenders. Their unexampled heroism will also be immortalized in a new memorial.
☝️Even now, when construction is at full speed, this place leaves no one indifferent. I am sure that it is also necessary for the next generations as vaccination against the ideas of nazism and fascism.

❗️ The enemy is suffering significant losses in all directions. High-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces have eliminated up to 150 Ukrainian servicemen and 12 pieces of military equipment of the 93rd mechanized brigade of AFU in Kharkov.
⚠️ Ukrainian armed formations, by using chemical industry facilities to house their units and military equipment, are deliberately creating conditions for man-made accidents that could affect thousands of civilians.
⚠️ According to reliable information, militants of nationalist groups are preparing a provocation with the use of toxic substances in Nikolaevka, Donetsk People's Republic. For this purpose, the Ukrainian neo-Nazis brought tanks with liquid chlorine (over 6,000 litres) to the pumping and filtration station of the Slavyansk TPP, which they had mined and planned to blow up when units of Russian troops and formations of the Donetsk People's Republic approach.
📹 The Ministry of Defence has published footage of railway specialists from the Western Military District in the special military operation area.
🚛 Over the day, the population of the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics and Kharkov and Zaporozhye regions received 509 tonnes of basic necessities and foodstuffs. More than 22,000 people have been evacuated to Russia from dangerous areas of Ukraine and the Donbas republics.
