These two are screenshots from my GitHub contributions graph. Both were during mid (November) and final (January) exam season. After the mid-exam, I found it really hard to go back to where I left things, and even when I looked, the code I wrote myself got complex as if it were someone else's project. My reason for not contributing a thing was 'I don't have much time to study,' but after what happened, I really understood why showing up every day matters. It doesn't have to be a chunk of updates or features, but a minor fix will keep you engaged with your projects. So for the final exam, I challenged myself to be more consistent and show up for the tiny things too, and now I can say I did it ๐. When I was doing it, it was just as a challenge for myself, but now when I see the difference between the post-mid and final exams, it is really impactful.
