Lately I have been trying to learn docker. Here are a few things:
- Containers & Images: Packaging apps with their dependencies so they run identically on any machine. Image is packaged snapshot of everything an application needs to run. Container is running instance of Image. Image is like a recipe and Container is the output of a recipe.
- Dockerfiles: Writing step-by-step instructions (FROM, COPY, RUN, CMD) to automate image building.
- Ports & Volumes: Mapping ports to access apps locally, and mounting volumes for live code updates (Hot Reloading) and database data persistence.
- Docker Compose: Managing a full-stack application (React + Node + MongoDB) in a single docker-compose.yml file using one command (docker compose up).

What do you think about multitasking vs. monotasking? Are you a multitasker or a monotasker? Let me know your thoughts

Forwarded from Mr. SeeFun.Dev
I built a 90-day Backend Mastery roadmap for developers who want to go deeper into backend engineering.
It covers 17 systems across Linux, networking, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, system design, distributed systems, Kafka, Kubernetes, cloud, CI/CD, observability, security, and more.
It includes curated resources, hands-on labs, checklists, and a day-by-day plan.
If you're serious about leveling up your backend skills, check it out:

Introducing Kulch.site
Do you get tired of pasting your CV into ChatGPT or Claude every time you apply for a new job โ tweaking the same lines over and over?
I did.
So I built Kulch โ a free CV workspace built around one simple idea:
> You don't need one "perfect" CV. You need a truthful CV tailored to each opportunity.
With Kulch, you can:
โข Create a CV from scratch or import an existing PDF
โข Duplicate your base CV and tailor separate versions for different roles
โข Edit with a live A4 preview across 4 resume templates
โข Compare your experience with a job description and get grounded AI guidance
โข Save version checkpoints and export clean, selectable PDFs
โข Work from desktop or mobile without losing the focused editing experience
Kulch keeps suggestions review-first. It never silently changes your resume or invents experience for you.
Try it out: https://www.kulch.site
