Zoals jullie weten wordt de subsidie voor álle politieke partijen verdeeld uit één grote pot. Om Timmermans - met zijn twee partijen - te kunnen verslaan, gaat het FVD Legioen de komende weken opnieuw in campagne-modus. We hebben nog een aantal dagen om er samen voor te zorgen dat FVD de grootste ledenpartij blijft en - mits we er álles aan doen - zelfs GroenLinks en PvdA tezamen kan verslaan.
Nog minder dan twee weken (!) tot 1 januari 2024, de allesbepalende peildatum waarop het aantal leden per politieke partij wordt vastgesteld.

Presumably, the SCOTUS will overturn this ruling, and this stunt will only end up making Trump more popular, and proving the establishment’s desperation.
They know they can’t win. They don’t have control of Twitter anymore, so they can’t shape public perception like they used to, and with citizen journalists able to dismantle their narratives in real time, their propaganda is largely neutralized. We are calling their plays out before they run them. We have the playbook.
They are FUCKED. And they know it. So they have no choice but to try to jail Trump, keep him off the ballot, or worse.
But with every step they take to prevent Trump from reclaiming office, they dig their graves just a little deeper, further justifying their future prosecution.
In the end, this will be a net positive for Trump. It will only fuel the anti-establishment movement that much more, and it provides Trump with future political ammunition to unleash on his enemies.

The head of a Gaza hospital has admitted to being a senior Hamas commander - and detailed how the terror group transformed the medical site into an operational hub that once housed a kidnapped Israeli soldier.
Ahmad Kahlot, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabaliya, made his taped confession to the Israeli security service Shin Bet after his arrest during last week’s raid on the facility in northern Gaza.
Kahlot revealed that about 16 hospital staffers, including doctors, nurses, paramedics and clerks, were also members of Hamas’ notorious military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.

I'm sure my understanding on this is flawed... but I have found the following when digging on the 14th Amendment.
1) Congress can pass a resolution declaring that somebody has "participated in an insurrection" under the 14th Amendment, and it only requires a simple majority vote in both House & Senate.
2) "How disqualification works under the 14th Amendment has never been clear". It has never been applied to a President before. The Supreme Court may end up deciding it can't be applied to POTUS?
3) While such a resolution could be challenged and overturned in court, the 14th Amendment does not define a legal standard for what counts as insurrection... instead it grants CONGRESS the power to disqualify somebody. Some legal opinion says this gives Congress discretion in deciding it means whatever they say it means. Others (myself included) think the charge must be clear enough to stand up in court... but which court?
To say it's impossible for Congress to do this to Trump is to say you TRUST THE COURTS. The same ones that decided they didn't give a shit about 2020.
