Dropsuite is a Cloud based software platform that enables SMEs to easily backup, recover and protect their digital assets. We’re looking for a talented senior developer to join our Engineering team and help take our products to the next level.

Responsibilities
- Writing scalable Ruby code on the front-end & back-end
- Maintaining & improving existing code as well as working on new components
- Adding unit tests and assisting QA
- Performing support, identifying & fixing bottlenecks & bugs

Skills/Experience
- Good experience with recent versions of Ruby & Ruby on Rails
- Strong aptitude towards testing, preferably with frameworks such as RSpec
- Good understanding of source-code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, or others
- Experience with working with HTML, CSS, HTTP/S and/or other web technologies
- Strong grasp on object-oriented development & design
- Experience with development in the cloud (preferably AWS)
- Experience with RDBMS
- Experience with using & developing RESTful APIs
- Great communication skills, solution oriented attitude and working with global teams and partners

Mekari Indonesia

- Mentoring junior developers to develop their skills


Skills and Requirements:

- Passionate as a problem solver & software engineer
- Love to learn new things
- Good knowledge of Ruby on Rails (best practices, how it works internally, patterns, refactoring)
- Understand to test your code (unit and integration test)
- Comfortable with the JavaScript framework: ReactJS or VueJS
- Good understanding of database (structure, optimation, tuning)
- Experience with scaling a web application
- Know the basic of Linux administration
- Have some experiences in deploying an app to the production environment
- Willing to learn Elixir and Phoenix
