I'm not going to be commenting much on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. First of all, because I don't know enough about the situation and it is rapidly developing. So, I don't really have anything of value to add.
Secondly, because I don't want to take sides in the conflict. I'm a friend of the Russian people, having lived in Russia for several years. However, I hold nothing against the Ukrainian people.
I believe that the regime controlling NATO countries is the greatest evil and their influence over Ukraine is toxic. But I also don't want to be a yes man for the Kremlin either.
I can understand why the prospective membership of Ukraine in NATO is unacceptable for Russia. Whilst I can also understand why Ukraine wouldn't want to go back to the influence Russia had over it in the past.
All I really have to say about the conflict is that I hope it ends soon and has as little impact on the lives of everyone involved as possible.

Nothing gives liberal Canadian boomers' lives more purpose than hating Donald Trump. They'd be bored without him.
I was dragged over the coals last year when I said these armed militia movements will never work, but I've been proven right yet again. Despite having active CAF members, dozens of guns, and thousands of rounds, the RCMP shut them down without needing to fire a shot.
I just wish these guys could've channelled their energy into something more effective. I blame 90-IQ American slopulists for spreading the delusion that something like this ever had a chance at success.
