The DeFi lending protocol Tectonic was exploited on Cronos, with around $75 million in assets reportedly affected.
The attacker manipulated TONIC’s price, temporarily pushing it nearly 100× higher, and used the inflated value to borrow large amounts of assets.
🔥 Cronos validators halted the network to prevent further losses, while around $6 million was reportedly moved to Ethereum before the halt.
