This time of year can be especially stressful, can't it?
The pressure of buying presents for everyone, organising food for everyone and spending what seems like forever in the kitchen! Seeing extended family and all the good and bad feelings that can arise as a result...
I, for one, am so grateful for the opportunity to slow down and just take some time for ✨️ ME ✨️
There are just 13 days until we all come together in unity and receive some magical healing at our retreat, and we would be thrilled to have you join us 🙏🏼

We are aware and saddened that more families than ever are finding this winter tough financially with the rising cost of living, and many parents are having to cut costs on basic essentials such as food and heating just to make ends meet.
The sad reality is that many children will go without a single present this Christmas as many parents just cannot make the pennies stretch far enough.
For this reason, we are organising a Christmas Present Appeal, whereby we will be collecting donations, wrapping them up, and helping local families in need. We are also accepting items for anyone unfortunate enough to be sleeping rough this year.
We would LOVE to take away some of the stress for families this Christmas and put a smile on their children’s faces with a simple spoonful of kindness!

If you are or have been the parent of a young person, then you are more than likely in agreement that the current education system is broken ✖️
While a small number of children do manage to get through their learning years unscathed, there are a HUGE number of children who can not fit into the rigid box that is pushed upon them by the powers that be. This is obviously a huge detriment to their education and mental health.
Tired of fighting to receive the support that their child deserves, parents are increasingly opting to take matters into their own hands and home educate. If this is you, then we salute you 🙏🏼🫡
Of course, there are many parents who are not able to home educate due to work or family commitments, who are desperately seeking that alternative for their child who is struggling and being failed by the current system.
At Roots to the Future, we are actively creating this alternative through our daily hard work and sheer determination to provide the younger generations with what they deserve.
Open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, our tutors are fully DBS checked and first aid trained, so you can leave them with us and go off to work, knowing that your child is receiving a wide and varied education, focusing on practical life skills.
There are no boxes that children are required to reside in. Critical thinking is encouraged, and the strengths within each child are actively celebrated, no matter what they are.
Just look at David here who attends our Warwick Centre. In our carpentry session last week, he was able to build this planter from scrap wood in just a few hours and leave at the end of the day feeling so proud of himself, with skills learnt that will last him a lifetime!

For a huge number of us, we turn to spirituality at a point in time when we are struggling in our day to day lives and are looking for answers as to why something may have happened to us. We may be trying to process trauma, dealing with poor mental health, or going through times of great change and turmoil. We may have unfortunately lost someone dear to us, which has in turn, led us to question why we are here and where we go after we pass away.
Whether you are new to spirituality or have been on the path for some time, one thing that's for sure is that there will always be ups and downs in our lives. As we delve deeper into ourselves, the work that must be done to bring our shadows to the surface and transmute them to the light will always continue.
We are so looking forward to connecting with some old and new souls this weekend. Our healers will be on hand to help them process any trauma stored in the body and release any emotional blockages that they may have. It's going to be a truly beautiful day for us all to come together in love and abundance.

Lots of new connections were made, and we provided a beautiful safe space for healing, releasing, crying, relaxation, and laughter for those who needed it 🙏🏼

As you should be aware, a couple of weeks ago, we launched our first ever Roots Grotto Christmas Appeal whereby we are collecting unwanted toys and goods for vulnerable families in our local community around Warwick 🎅🎁

It is an honour to introduce our brand new organisation...
🔥 ROOTS' BURNERS 🔥
Started in response to the soaring energy prices across the United Kingdom, Roots' Burners has come to fruition in order to empower self sufficiency and allow households to become less reliant on the grid.
We have a number of burners of various specifications that have been refurbished to an A1 standard, all of which are ready to go to their forever homes.
If you are in the Midlands, then installation is also available without delay by our expert team of fitters.
In addition to this, we are running courses in refurbishing burners from the Roots Community Education Centre in Warwick. These courses will give people the skills to refurbish and fit their own burners, as well as creating job opportunities within the organisation.
All funds raised from the sale of our burners will go directly back into Roots to the Future, to further develop our aims of creating a whole new way of learning for children and adults, across the length and bredth of the United Kingdom.
