In an attempt to spread lies and create confusion as is customary for them on all sides. Basnews, Rudaw, and Kurdistan 24 channels have published reports of forced recruitment of children under the age of 18 in QSD/SDF controlled areas.
The People's Protection Units and all military forces ranks in northern and eastern Syria were and still are bound by international agreements on the rights of the child and human. Mazloum Abdi, Commander in Chief of the SDF, signed in 2019 at the headquarters of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, Virginia Gamba, an action plan to end and prevent the recruitment of children into the forces he heads there.
The Syrian Democratic Forces, in their various formations, are still committed to this.
In response to these lies, a meeting was held with the families of persons under 18 who were returned, based on the commitment of the military forces in northern and eastern Syria to the international conventions.

Afrin Three Years of Occupation
88 women and girls whose identities are known were reportedly kidnapped by #Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in #Afrin, in 2020, a rate of approximately one incident every four days.
"As of January 1, 2021, 51 remained missing. 35 were reported to have been released. One had allegedly been murdered.
17 of the 35 individuals who have been released were reportedly freed after the payment of a ransom. Ransoms were paid in US dollars, Syrian pounds, or Turkish lira.
The months with the highest number of incidents were January, April, August and November, with 11 cases each; followed by December, with 10 cases. "
