Internal emails obtained by @SenRonJohnsonUS reveal that the Biden White House edited public messaging about stroke risk following COVID-19 vaccination. The documents, from the CDC, FDA, and White House, show government officials workshopping how warnings to the public should be worded.

In one document, the language describing the stroke signal was changed from "moderately elevated" to "slightly." That edit was not made by a pharmaceutical company. It was made by the United States government.

The emails show officials conducting a risk-benefit calculation on behalf of a pharmaceutical product, softening the language around a known safety signal before it reached the public. The same government that altered that messaging also administers the liability-protected system through which vaccine injury claims are adjudicated.
