A class action lawsuit filed by 473 Ontario healthcare workers who were terminated or suspended for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine has been dismissed by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. The court ruled that the workers' claims lacked jurisdiction and merit, awarding court costs against the plaintiffs amounting to $190,000.
The workers had argued that the vaccine mandates violated their Charter rights and caused harm.
However, the court rejected these claims, stating there was no evidence of a conspiracy or misfeasance by government officials or hospital groups.
