What this tells us is that Trump is likely trying to play both sides until AFTER the election. Trump mentioned that a disaffected Democrat who would surely vote for him continually asks why he doesn’t mention the “success” of the COVID vaccines more often.

It seems that Trump doesn’t want to alienate these kinds of voters, so don’t expect him to weigh in on whether the COVID vaccines are good or bad this election cycle.
