Es habitual que algunos usuarios publiquen capturas de pantalla, benchmarks o resultados llamativos y luego pidan a otros miembros que les contacten por privado para obtener los archivos o participar como «probadores».

Antes de flashear cualquier archivo, recuerda que un único archivo incorrecto puede provocar desde bootloops y pérdida de datos hasta daños mucho más graves que dejen el dispositivo inutilizable o requieran procedimientos avanzados de recuperación. Por este motivo, nunca deberías instalar imágenes de particiones, archivos de fastboot o modificaciones de origen desconocido sin haber verificado previamente su procedencia, documentación y reputación dentro de la comunidad.

Las modificaciones legítimas suelen publicarse de forma abierta para que puedan ser revisadas por otros usuarios, recibir comentarios y ser analizadas por desarrolladores con experiencia. Si alguien se niega a compartir información técnica, evita publicar el contenido abiertamente o insiste en que todo se realice por mensaje privado, es recomendable extremar las precauciones.

Si recibes archivos sospechosos, instrucciones poco claras o procedimientos que impliquen modificar particiones críticas del dispositivo, consulta primero con otros miembros experimentados o con el equipo de moderación. No asumas que un archivo es seguro únicamente porque otra persona afirma haberlo probado.

La mejor forma de proteger la comunidad es compartir información de manera transparente, verificar las fuentes y advertir a otros usuarios cuando detectemos comportamientos sospechosos; tenemos varios casos recientes en otras comunidades en las cuales estafadores ofrecen un "módulo de overclock" para testear y brickean equipos para luego remitirlos a otro usuario que les cobrará para recuperar su equipo. Unos minutos de comprobación pueden evitar la pérdida de un dispositivo y muchos dolores de cabeza.

Mantenganse seguros y recuerden: si tienen dudas sobre un archivo, es mejor preguntar primero que lamentarlo después.
