Finding product-market fit (PMF) in Web3 isn’t just about building a great product. It's about aligning incentives, community, and tokenomics. Here's how to get it right:
In Web3, hype can generate buzz, but it won’t get you to PMF. Look for organic usage. If people are engaging with your product without incentives or rewards, you’re closer to solving a real problem.
Web3 is all about niches. Instead of trying to win the masses, focus on a specific community, chain, or use case where you can build a loyal user base and dominate in that space. Once you’ve gained traction, expand from there.
Forget vanity metrics. Look at on-chain data like retention, transaction volume, and liquidity growth. If your users are sticking around and your product is being used in meaningful ways, you’re headed in the right direction.
A token isn’t just a tool for speculation—it should add value to your product. If users need your token for meaningful utility, rather than just trading or rewards, you’re beginning to nail the PMF puzzle.
PMF isn’t proven during a bull market. It’s about retention and user engagement during the down cycles, when incentives and hype are lower. If your product continues to have demand in a bear market, that’s a true sign of PMF.

We developed a multi-chain NFT marketplace with the following features:⚪️ NFT Creation (ERC-721 & ERC-1155)⚪️ Flexible Sales (Direct sales, timed auctions)⚪️ Admin Panel for managing collections and monitoring activity⚪️ Social Features like liking and following collections⚪️ Game Pages to display game-related NFTs
The client wanted to display all blockchain collections (like OpenSea), but indexing all collections in real-time would require too much computational power.
Solution: We introduced admin-managed imports, allowing admins to manually input collection addresses, ensuring a smooth user experience without performance issues.
