Having a noise cancelling headphone is so wild because i didn't even notice the rain outside or the ticking clock until i turned it off.

i went here a few days back to get a new prescription for my glasses. this is one of the only remaining places where they still make glasses out of glass and not plastic.
you cant get blue light filtering in glass , but you can get solar.
benefits of glasses made out of glass is that since glass has a higher mohs hardness (5-6) than plastic (2-4) , your glasses wont get scratched as easily.
but also it takes longer to manufacture so youll have to wait like 2 weeks.
the glass based pair i got when i was 14 still is in storage somwhere , perfectly unscratched so 😂 yeah its durable.
and the place is run entirely by people with disabilities and its cheaper than most places you get perscriptions in.
