Happy 1-Year Dev Anniversary to Me!🥳

Created this channel on April 29, 2024.
And here we are... 365 days later.

From june 1, 2024 to August 29, 2024, I locked in:
-12–15 hours of code
-No friends, no socials, no breaks
-Eat. Code. Pray. Sleep. Repeat, 24/7, monday to Monday.
That’s 90+ days of relentless focus.
No shortcuts. Just straight up grind mode.

Shoutout to the legends who fueled my fire early on: bini, Dagmawi Babi, Yeabsira, Robi Mez and @sukkoth

Most of them gave me real advice and time when I reached out — and Robi’s podcast with Dagmawi? That pushed me to go beast mode. I owe you guys more than thanks. I'm literally the result of your inspiration. 💯

But above all...
It’s God who brought these people into my life.
He connected me with the right people, gave me the discipline, focus, and energy to stay the course. All glory belongs to Him.

One year ago, I couldn’t write a single line of code😁.

Now? I’m building real projects, I’m earning money, I’ve build a project that are already helping my university students....and there's so much more to come.

I saw many people talking about policy and funding, but I don’t think that’s the only problem—it’s also our mindset. Seeing A2SV leave Ethiopia is really sad. As a community, we’re not even grateful for things that genuinely help us.

Some say “he came for profit,” but even if that’s true, at least be thankful. We saw something none of us could’ve imagined. We’re too focused on ourselves and quick to complain. If we can’t handle opportunities, maybe it’s better they go to other African brothers and sisters who are open-minded and hungry for change.
