On July 4, 1976, Israel rescued 102 hostages in the historic Entebbe operation after Palestinian and German hijacked Air France Flight 139.
The terrorists diverted the plane to Uganda and separated the Israeli and Jewish passengers from the other hostages.
Israel flew over 4,000 km to bring its people home. Three hostages and the operation's commander, Lt. Col. Yonatan Netanyahu, were killed.

Don’t let the force of an impression when it first hit you knock you off your feet; just say to it: Hold on a moment; let me see who you are and what you represent. Let me put you to the test.

Started a new project with an awesome team! 🚀 Really excited to work with people who love space and engineering as much as I do. We've got a lot of brainstorming, building, and late-night discussions ahead, and I can't wait to see what we create together.
Our idea is to make CubeSats a little smarter. 😄 We're working on an AI system that can predict overheating before it becomes a problem by monitoring the satellite's passive cooling system. It's a fun mix of space, AI, and engineering, and hopefully something that can make future space missions more reliable. Wuhuuu 🌍🛰️

“There’s nothing worse than a wolf befriending sheep. Avoid false friendship at all costs. If you are good, straightforward, and well meaning it should show in your eyes and not escape notice.”

It's pretty obvious that one should keep away from the wicked and two-faced as much as possible—the jealous friend, the narcissistic parent, the untrustworthy partner. At first glance, Marcus Aurelius is
reminding us to avoid false friends.

There was a man I looked up to growing up. He was the reason I fell in love with history. The way he told stories made the past feel alive, and his advice shaped the way I thought. To me, he was the kind of person who had everything figured out. Years later, I learned that the same man had become trapped in addiction. It wasn't just surprising it was heartbreaking. Watching someone you once saw as unshakable become consumed by his own battles changes the way you see people.
That moment taught me a Stoic lesson I won't forget: admire virtue, not personalities. Every person, no matter how wise or respected they appear, is capable of falling. The good they gave you remains good, and their failures remain theirs. We cannot control the paths others take, only the character we choose to build within ourselves.

“Are you angry when someone’s armpits stink or when their breath is bad? What would be the point? Having such a mouth and such armpits, there’s going to be a smell emanating. You say, they must have sense, can’t they tell how they are offending others? Well, you have sense too, congratulations! So, use your natural reason to awaken theirs, show them, call it out. If the person will listen, you will have cured them without useless anger. No drama nor unseemly
show required.”

What is the god of death??
Who has the power over death??
Until you loss close ones u never know what they are experiencing(people who loss some one). But this is part of life. Undeniable truth.
U never know the pain unless a doctor walked out and said there is nothing we can do for ur closed once. U never understand the sirens of ambulance unless ur loved once are in it. Some pains require experience to understand. Remember that.

For newcomers, let me introduce myself.
My name is Robel. I am an Aircraft Maintenance Trainee at Ethiopian Aviation by day and a coder by night. I am also a Yuri's Night Global member and the Ethiopia Ambassador, a member of the SGAC Small Satellite Group, and the Technical Team Lead for the SpaceXAI Research Cohort, contributing to several research papers.
I am currently working on CubeSat research to solve the challenges encountered by satellites, especially those in low Earth orbit (LEO) with my new team achieved orbitals. I also conduct independent research on the integration of AI into aircraft systems, and I plan to become more involved in both hardware and software integration. I want to be a bridge between aviation, artificial intelligence, and space technology.
In Ethiopia, my friends and I are working on many initiatives, especially projects that are well known in other parts of the world but have not yet reached Ethiopia. I brought Yuri's Night Global to Ethiopia for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. I am now working to bring more internationally recognized projects and organizations to Ethiopia.
I am a Calvinist Christian, a Stoic, and pro-Israel. I love reading books, especially on history and philosophy. I enjoy meaningful discussions, particularly about history, philosophy, and technology.
My hero is me after 5 years. Am the admirer of Elon Musk, MalcomX and Agora hypatia. From Ethiopia Emperor Tewodross. And I love my country.
Welcome to Enlightenment where I journal my journey, share my projects and my thoughts.

Before shabbat I need to finish one task from the project am working on.
I will be contributing to the development of an autonomous decision making layer for a CubeSat system. My focus is on exploring intelligent spacecraft autonomy, where AI based models can support real time decision making and improve system resilience in challenging operational environments.
