As of 10.2.2026:

In August 2025 i picked up the ritmo from a seller. Major rust, drum brakes stuck, engine does not want to run, not even with starter fluid.

I replaced the gasket if the Weber carburator, sealed it and voila- the car at least ran. Not proper. While loading it off the trailer, the brakes got loose enough to move it with it's own power. Interior is currently stripped a bit, wiring is a mess.

Currently, I do not want to work in this situation. Hopefully the weather gets better soon

Sadly when in my element I forget to take videos. In the meantime I have been fixing wiring issues left by the previous owner, removed the paneling to clean the inside of the doors, and messed with the choke

The water pump is my next goal, as the ritmos coolant fluid started emptying out of the pump and made a mess

Ignoring the engine overheating after ~20 minutes, the car also runs and drives really quite well now. Every part of the suspension loosened and got back into action as it's supposed to- but I'll still replace them, to be safe
