😳 17 US Soldiers Arrested in South Korea 🇰🇷Drug Bust

🇰🇷police raided two US military bases and are now investigating 17 US soldiers and 5 other people who allegedly smuggled or used synthetic marijuana via military mail.

A tip from the US Army's enforcement arm had sparked a four-month investigation by Korean authorities.

The soldiers allegedly distributed the drugs on the bases while communicating via Snapchat.

🚨 British🇬🇧Tourist Plummets 300FT to Death While Climbing Austria’s ‘Stairway to Heaven’

The unnamed 42-year-old was climbing the Dachstein Mountains, part of the Northern Limestone Alps, when he fell off the end of a metal ladder dubbed the ‘stairway to heaven.’

Two helicopter crews rushed to the scene but the man was unable to be saved after the horrific fall.

The Brit was reportedly scaling the ladder alone, and third-party negligence has been ruled out.

💶German🇩🇪 Producer Prices Drop Whopping 12.6% in August

The major decrease is "the largest decline in producer prices compared since data collection began in 1949," the country's statistical office Destatis reported.

Energy prices were the main factor driving the year-on-year decline as they fell by 31.9% on a yearly basis but were 1.6% up from the prior month

It is time to acknowledge openly that much of Europe and the US have been built from the vast wealth harvested from the sweat, tears, blood and horrors of the trans-Atlantic slave trade and the centuries of colonial exploitation, 🇬🇭 President Akufo-Addo told the UNGA.

For centuries, the world has been unwilling and unable to confront the realities of the consequences of the slave trade, but gradually this is changing, and it is time to bring the subject of reparations firmly to the fore, the president said.

He also called for the illicit flow of funds from Africa to be returned to the continent.

💶 Kosovo So Awash with Fake Euro Coins they are Accepted as Payment

The forged 2-euro coins are of such a high quality and in circulation so much that service industries have stopped checking to see if they are genuine.

At Pristina police's forensic laboratory, staff examined more than 30,000 counterfeit 2-euro coins in the first half of this year, compared to 4,451 in the same period last year.

An anonymous supermarket manager in the city told Reuters it is easier to pass the 2-euro coins on to other customers rather than risk prosecution by taking them to a bank.

‼️ Family Sues Google – Accuses Maps App of Directing Father Off Collapsed Bridge

Philip Paxson, 47, died after driving off a collapsed bridge in Hickory, North Carolina and his family is suing Google for negligence.

They claim the GPS put him on the unfamiliar path of a bridge that collapsed nearly a decade earlier and was never repaired, causing him to drown while driving home from his eldest daughter's birthday party on Sept 30, 2022.

The court filing includes email records from another Hickory resident who had used the map's 'suggest an edit' feature in September 2020 to alert the company that it was directing drivers over the collapsed bridge.
