Denmark🇩🇰 to Resurrect Own Munitions Production as War Donations Drains Stocks 💸

Copenhagen wants to buy back and reopen its only munition factory to counter a shortage of supplies after numerous pledges to Ukraine, broadcaster DR reported, citing Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

The Elling factory was Denmark’s sole munitions producer when it closed in 2020 after years of losses under the ownership of Spanish defense company Expal Systems SA.

Denmark is among the most active donors of military equipment to Ukraine, with parliament passing earlier this year a 10-year $20 billion defense budget to fund donations as well as boosting its own military.

The huge blast also injured five people at a gas pipeline on a motorway construction site in the eastern Romanian county of Vrancea early Thursday, authorities said.

⚠️ Russia🇷🇺Repels Wave of Drone Strikes on Crimea and Black Sea Targets

Russia’s aerial defense systems destroyed 19 ‘lethal’ drones fired by Kiev at the Black Sea, the Crimean Peninsula and other Russian border regions, 🇷🇺Defense Ministry has revealed.

“In the night from 20th to 21st September, an attempt by the Kiev regime to commit a terrorist attack with lethal drones on sites in the Russian Federation was intercepted,” the defense ministry said.

The ministry did not mention if there are any immediate casualties or damage.
