☄️ Epstein Sex Trafficking: JP Morgan Could Be Liable if Former Exec Jes Staley Knew – Judge

If Staley had actual first-hand knowledge that Epstein conducted a sex trafficking venture, then that information could be attributed to JP Morgan, a US District Judge explained - after he refused to dismiss lawsuits that the bank “enabled” the disgraced child sex offender.

Epstein's accusers could therefore show that JPMorgan "actually knew" about the venture or "recklessly disregarded" its existence, Judge Jed Rakoff noted.

Staley denies the allegations, but JP Morgan is separately suing him to cover losses in the two lawsuits it faces, and forfeit eight years of pay.
