At least one person died as the typhoon left a trail of destruction and flooding in many regions after barrelling through Hong Kong, Macau and southern Chinese provinces with winds up to 125mph.

Ta'Kiya Young, 21, died on August 24 when she was shot while in her car outside a grocery store in Blendon Township, a suburb of Columbus.
Footage shows officers attempting to question her for alleged shoplifting. One cop is seen standing at her door and repeatedly telling her to "get out of the car".
"Are you going to shoot me?" she says moments before a single shot is fired and the officer quickly moves out of the car's path.
Both officers, who have not been identified, were in the parking lot for an unrelated call. They were both placed on administrative leave after the shooting.

Tehran believes Tel Aviv tried to sabotage its ballistic missile program through faulty foreign parts that could explode, damaging or destroying the weapons before they could be used.
A state TV report accused 🇮🇱 Mossad agents of supplying the faulty parts, described as low-price “connectors” - footage showed the alleged parts, some of them popping up into the air, as if affected by an explosive.
Tel Aviv has declined to comment on the allegation, though it comes amid a yearslong effort by both 🇮🇱 and the 🇺🇸 to target 🇮🇷.
