A company backed by the Soros Economic Development Fund has taken control of two major Polish newspapers - daily Rzeczpospolita and the financial daily Parkiet - after the Polish owner sold his shares of the controlling company to Pluralis, of which Soros' fund is a large stakeholder.

Pluralis now owns 57% of the shares, a move which contradicts previous claims that the billionaire plans to leave the EU.

🚫 Kiev Faces Fresh Graft Allegations over Military Uniforms

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry have been accused of buying uniforms for inflated prices during the war with Russia, according to media reports.

The ministry signed a contract late last year with a Turkish company to supply winter combat fatigues, but the price tripled following the inking of the deal.

One of the owners of the Turkish company is Oleksandre Kassai, a nephew of Gennadi Kassai, who is a member of the same party as President Zelensky, Ukrainian journalists discovered.

😳 Live Worm 🪱 Found in Woman’s Brain in Australia

A 64-year-old English woman - who was living in New South Wales, 🇦🇺 - was admitted to hospital in January 2021 after three weeks of abdominal pain and diarrhoea, followed by a dry cough and night sweats.

By 2022, her symptoms had evolved to include forgetfulness and depression, prompting medical professionals to refer her to Canberra hospital.

An MRI scan of her brain revealed that a motile helminth - a parasitic roundworm - was living in the right frontal lobe lesion of her brain – which surgeons later successfully removed.

Medical professionals suspect the woman inadvertently ingested the 🪱 eggs by eating edible grasses that were tainted with snake faeces, however, the actual cause cannot be confirmed.
