Netflix Releases Kid’s Cartoon about Homosexual Knights Deemed “Too Gay” for Disney

The movie – Nimoa – which is aimed at children, features a same-sex couple as well as its magical "gender-fluid" namesake.

The film had been initially acquired by Disney and was almost 75% complete before the animated giant scrapped the project entirely after clashes over including a same-sex kiss in the movie.

Nimona was originally published as a web-comic by ND Stevenson, a queer, transgender writer.

Bitcoin Tanks to 25K Triggering $1 Billion in Crypto Liquidations

Bitcoin’s price plummeted late Thursday to $25,300, touching lows the asset has not seen in the past two months.

The last time Bitcoin traded this low was in mid-June, shortly after Binance and Coinbase were sued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and just before BlackRock announced its bid for a Bitcoin spot ETF.

Over $788mn in liquidations have occurred in the past 24 hours - roughly half were on Bitcoin trades, with another $245mn on Ethereum.

Bitcoin slightly rebounded after the crash, trading for $26,524 at time of writing.
