LinkedIn Hit by Massive Wave of Hack Attacks - Company Goes Silent

Once locked out, recovery of the account seems to be impossible, with LinkedIn support inundated. It's thought some hackers are demanding a ransom, according to posts across other platforms compiled by BleepingComputer. Once in, the hackers have been changing the email address to a Russian one - or in some cases just deleting the account.

Googletrends shows a 5000% uptick in people searching how to recover their accounts.
