The US president has once again escalated his verbal attacks on Beijing at a Utah political fundraiser, saying China was ‘in trouble’ due to its high unemployment and ageing workforce.

“They have got some problems. That’s not good, because when bad folks have problems, they do bad things,” Biden added.

Biden’s remarks were reminiscent of comments he made at another fundraiser in June when he referred to President Xi as a “dictator” – Beijing called the remarks a “political provocation.”

Seems like the only ‘bad folks’ projecting dangerous rhetoric is the US…

After nearly wrapping up his legal problems without prison, Hunter Biden now faces the threat of a trial during the heat of his father's reelection campaign.

The surprise appointment of US Attorney David Weiss as a special counsel in the inquiry was quickly followed by the news that Hunter’s plea agreement had reached an impasse.

"The Government now believes that the case will not resolve short of a trial," Weiss wrote in a Friday filing.
