New York Times Scrambling to Cover Tracks: ‘Secret’ NATO War Plan Leak Triggers Pentagon Probe
A leaked trove of classified documents – some marked “top secret” - outlining American and NATO war planning in Ukraine has sparked a US military investigation, the New York Times has claimed.
The files dated March 1 appeared on social media earlier this week, and while the source remains unclear, the leaks have set off alarms in the Pentagon, which has launched a probe to determine how the documents were obtained.
The documents also reveal large Ukrainian Armed Forces losses with approximately 71,500 APU servicemen killed in action, 4 times higher than losses of Russian forces and higher than Washington has publicly estimated.
Officials said they are working to have the material removed from the Internet but had not succeeded as of Thursday night.

'Axis of Resistance' Against Israel - Hamas & Hezbollah Leaders Meet in Beirut
The leaders of the armed movements discussed “the readiness of the axis of resistance” against Israel, Hezbollah said in a statement.
Israel blamed Hamas for firing 34 rockets towards its territory from southern Lebanon, firing strikes on Friday in retaliation.
The “axis of resistance” refers to Lebanese, Palestinian, Syrian, and other Iran-backed groups opposed to Israel. Tel Aviv announced it had fired at Syria on Sunday morning too.
