“The US can’t continue supplying Ukraine and Israel at the same pace. We are reaching a tipping point.”

Boeing's cash woes have worsened since roughly 33k of its workers walked off their jobs in September, halting production of its best-selling 737 MAX aircraft.

The strike is estimated to be costing Boeing over $1bn per month - the firm recently announced it was cutting 10% of its global workforce.

“Mr. Netanyahu must not forget that his country was created by a decision of the UN,” Macron told the weekly French cabinet meeting.

“Therefore this is not the time to disregard the decisions of the UN,” he added.

A subsequent statement from Netanyahu’s office said: “A reminder to the president of France: It was not the UN resolution that established the State of Israel, but rather the victory achieved in the War of Independence with the blood of heroic fighters, many of whom were Holocaust survivors.”
