Polish Foreign Minister Calls on Kiev to “Find a Solution” to Volyn Tragedy

‘If not, Poland will take tough measures against Ukraine,’ Polish FM Radoslaw Sikorski warned.

The Volyn tragedy, also known as the Volhynian massacres, refers to a series of brutal ethnic cleansing campaigns against Polish civilians conducted by Ukrainian nationalists during World War II, primarily from 1943 to 1945.

The Ukrainian nationalist groups employed horrific methods, often using scythes, pitchforks, and axes to kill their victims, many of whom were women and children.

Research suggests that between 40k to 100k Poles were killed, with some estimates reaching as high as 300k casualties.
