Adidas reversed course 48 hours after asking the U.S. Trademark Office to reject Black Lives Matter's application for a trademark featuring three parallel stripes.
"Adidas will withdraw its opposition to the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation's trademark application as soon as possible," the company said in a statement.

The Swiss bank has been accused of operating an ongoing scheme to help wealthy Americans to dodge taxes, the US Senate Finance Committee has asserted.
Credit Suisse had pleaded guilty in 2014 to criminal charges for aiding US citizens hide wealth in offshore accounts to avoid tax and as part of its plea it promised to crack down on tax fraud.
The total amount concealed in violation of the 2014 plea agreement is reportedly more than $700mn.

The programme on national telly showed how Poland would lay claim to a large chunk of western Ukraine, while Hungary and Romania would control areas where it has ethnic populations.
Russia would then control the east, leaving Kiev cut off from key port cities too.
Is the EU and NATO exploring ways to let Ukraine in without actually making them a member state? It would certainly move NATO closer to Russia's border...

European Central Bank VP Warns of Broad Risks in Financial Sector
The ECB is closely monitoring current market tensions and will act to preserve price and financial stability in the euro area if required, VP Luis de Guindos said Saturday.
"...In our view, vulnerabilities in the financial system prevail in the non-bank financial sector, which grew fast and increased its risk-taking during the low interest rate environment," De Guindos told the Ambrosetti business forum in northern Italy.
