Did You Know the 1089 Number Trick?

There’s a maths trick that always ends in 1089, no matter what number you start with (as long as you follow one rule).

Here’s how it works:

1️⃣ Pick any 3-digit number where the first digit is bigger than the last. Example: 732
2️⃣ Reverse the number β†’ 237
3️⃣ Subtract the smaller number from the bigger one β†’ 732 βˆ’ 237 = 495
4️⃣ Reverse your new number β†’ 594
5️⃣ Add the new number and the result of your subtraction together β†’ 495 + 594 = 1089

And just like that… you get 1089. It works every single time. Try it with a different number and watch the magic happen.
