Are you guys ok to hear about some of my personal stuff going on? Would that be too much sharing?

Man, y'all are the best. So, rn, my kiddo is in the hospital. She's been struggling with a bunch of different things and we're starting to look at different prognosis stuff and new procedures. She is deaf blind, diabetic and has soft organ damage throughout her body. We've just been referred to long term palliative care for kids with life limiting conditions. So it's been, to put it mildly, a lot.

I am still drawing but it's been slow going. If you need to catch up on details of a commission n stuff, you can always email me and I'll respond asap but grace n understanding is appreciated rn.

My family freaked out a little bit when I posted about it today cause they automatically assumed palliative care meant she was in the process of dying and shutting down, but it just means that we're recognizing and understanding that she doesnt have an expected life span and that we will have to make different choices than a typical teenager going forward

Good news everyone! It looks like we might be going home today! Kiddo is stable and her stomach has settled a bit so we're just making home plans!

We're finally settling back into our normal routines. Tomorrow I have a full day of cleaning and reorganizing ahead of me and then Thursday and Friday are puppy training and art days. I'm going to sit with my partners and try and map out the next month or so of schedule and hopefully have something concrete to show you all. :)

Set up a small goal for this week! Momo would like a cozy heated blanket while we are in our cold snap. We could use a little help for this little extra "non-medical" expense for our Complex Kid. We want to get her a real safe and temp controlled one so she doesn't get hurt, hence the higher price. Anything helps!
