🚨 IMPORTANT SECURITY WARNING
Please read this carefully before interacting with any links, messages, bots, or direct messages.
Retium team members and official moderators will never contact you unexpectedly to ask for your wallet details, passwords, private keys, seed phrase, verification codes, or personal information.
Do not click links sent through random messages, unofficial posts, or unsolicited DMs.
Official announcements, such as wallet releases, token claims, partnerships, testnet updates, and other important instructions—will be published through Retium’s official channels and social media accounts. Major releases will also be announced in advance and include clear instructions explaining exactly what to do.
Before clicking any link:
Confirm that it comes from an official Retium channel.
Check the website address carefully.
Verify the announcement across multiple official Retium platforms.
Ask a moderator if you are unsure.
Never install an unknown application, file, or browser extension.
Even when a message appears official, double-check it. Scam accounts may copy profile pictures, usernames, logos, and moderator identities.
As the Retium community grows, phishing attempts, fake giveaways, impersonation, spam attacks, and malicious links may become more frequent.
If you clicked a suspicious link or installed anything:
Disconnect your wallet immediately.
Remove the application or browser extension.
Change any exposed passwords.
Run a security scan on your device.
Report the account or message to the moderation team.
Never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone. No legitimate Retium representative will ever ask for them.
Stay alert, think before you click, and treat every unsolicited message as suspicious until it has been verified

📢 Community Announcement
Regrettably, we have discontinued our relationship with two ambassadors for the African region.
This decision was made after reviewing the quality of their involvement in Retium promotion, community support, and leadership. That said, we still appreciate their time, effort, and commitment during the period they were involved with Retium.
Going forward, we will no longer assign Ambassador roles based on hope or trial alone.
The Ambassador role is a serious role. It will only be given to people who can prove they are able to represent Retium professionally, support their regional community, and show real leadership.
If you want to become a Retium Ambassador, please check the full requirements in the Discord announcement channel and understand what is expected.
You need to prove that you can lead people, support the community, and represent Retium in the right way. Once we see that, the team will consider your position.

NFTs Are Coming to Retium
Just want to quickly share something we have been quietly building a working NFT launchpad and minting platform on Retium. It is already live on devnet and planned for one of the next stages of the public testnet.
A bit of background
We did not originally plan to build our own NFT launchpad, but with the public release of Retium approaching, we decided to move forward with it. On Retium, an NFT is not a separate special protocol. It is simply an RCP-1 contract that declares itself as an NFT. This is the same universal contract standard that powers tokens and other assets on-chain. With the public wallet release approaching, we decided it was time to give this capability a proper face a rough but fully functional UI where NFTs can actually be created, minted, and held.
Why this matters beyond NFTs
This platform is a standalone dApp. It was built completely separate from Retium’s core code, using only the public SDK and the RCP-1 protocol. No special access. No core-team privileges. It is living proof that any developer can build real products on Retium today using the tools that are publicly available. What our devs did here, other developers can do too.
How it works — two minting models
Model A — Community Mint A creator deploys a collection as an empty container with rules such as: • max supply; • per-wallet limits; • who is allowed to mint. Mint access can be: • open to everyone; • allowlist-only; • owner-only. Then minters bring their own art. They visit the mint page, upload an image, name it, mint it, and their ownership of that NFT is now written into the Retium blockchain itself, permanently and publicly. Example use case: A game deploys an Avatars collection, and every player mints their own custom avatar into it. Later, those avatars can be traded, gifted, or moved around. The collection grows with what the community creates. Model B — Curated Drop This is the classic NFT drop model. The creator preloads the artwork, for example 10 unique chickens, and the community claims them one mint at a time. No uploads. No friction. You mint, and you receive the next NFT from the drop. Supply caps and per-wallet limits are enforced by the contract itself, on-chain. On-chain by default In both models, every mint, transfer, and burn is a real on-chain transaction. It will be verifiable in Retium Scan. Reading ownership, collection history, or NFT data is free and does not require gas.
We want your input
This is where the community comes in. If you understand NFTs as a collector, creator, builder, or someone who has seen what other chains got right or wrong, we want to hear from you. How should an NFT minting marketplace on Retium look and work? What NFT functions or features would you like to have and see on the Retium NFT marketplace? Drop your suggestions in the comments or community channels. This is being built for the community, so help us shape it before it hardens. More to share soon as we approach the next testnet stage.

Retium’s business model and tokenomics are now finalised.
After careful review, we deliberately chose not to follow the typical crypto path of discounted token sales, insider allocations, and speculation.
Instead, our focus is on building a strong, sustainable…

@RaoulGMI The thesis is real — it's already visible: agents paying for APIs, agents settling with each other, machine-to-machine micropayments.
Blockchains are actually a better fit for agents than for humans, agents don't forget seed phrases, don't need…
