Community Update: Ambassador Roles

Hi everyone,

We would like to share a quick update regarding Retium Ambassador roles.

First, we are pleased to welcome a new Ambassador who will support the Russian and Ukrainian-speaking community.

We also want to be transparent that we have decided to part ways with one of our Ambassadors for the African region. We appreciate the time and effort contributed, but Ambassador roles need to remain active, consistent, and aligned with Retium’s standards.

We are still looking for suitable Ambassadors in other regions and communities.

Going forward, Ambassador roles will include a probation period. This gives both sides time to see whether the role is a good fit and whether the Ambassador is able to contribute consistently.

To be clear, this is not a job position. It is a community role. If someone performs well, represents Retium professionally, and contributes real value, we will be happy to continue working with them. If not, we may decide to end the Ambassador role respectfully and move on.

Our goal is to build a strong, serious, and reliable global community around Retium.

Today we witnessed a severe spam attack on the Retium discord server. Our Security Guard bot did a great job blocking and removing most of the malicious content, and for now the situation has been neutralised.

However, as Retium continues to grow as an upcoming Layer 1 blockchain, attacks like this will likely become more frequent. Please stay alert and take your account security seriously.

Do not click any links posted in the community unless they are shared by official Retium staff or moderators.

Retium team members will never randomly DM you first unless it has been publicly discussed beforehand through official channels.

If something does not look right, it is most likely spam, phishing, or a scam attempt.

Same rules apply for Telegram groups!

Let’s clear up the recent activity and complaints from several users.
Over the last few days, the Retium Discord has become very active due to the ranking and roles program. As expected, this also brought a large amount of farming activity, including the use of chat bots and suspicious accounts.
Several accounts were identified as bot/farming accounts and were muted or banned. Moderation is doing its job. While it is impossible to catch every bot instantly, we are doing our best to reduce spam, farming, and artificial activity in the community.
These actions also led to some unhappy messages and abuse in Telegram from users connected to those banned accounts. After reviewing the situation, we agree with the moderation decisions.
Recently, some of these users also created copy accounts and deployed additional bots. These accounts were quickly identified and removed. Some of them then came to Telegram demanding to be reinstated.
To make this clear: Telegram is not the place for personal assistance with Discord moderation issues. There is a support system in Discord for that. Please use the proper support process if you genuinely need help.
Any new accounts associated with bot farming, spam activity, or attempts to bypass moderation may be banned or removed from both Discord and Telegram.
The bottom line is simple:
Follow the rules and you will be fine.
Cheat, spam, farm, or use bots, and you may be muted or banned.

If you clicked a suspicious link or installed anything:

Disconnect your wallet immediately.
Remove the application or browser extension.
Change any exposed passwords.
Run a security scan on your device.
Report the account or message to the moderation team.

Never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone. No legitimate Retium representative will ever ask for them.

Stay alert, think before you click, and treat every unsolicited message as suspicious until it has been verified
