House Republicans have funded our military in the DOD appropriations bill. Not only that, it includes a raise for our troops.

The Democrat-controlled Senate should pass it immediately and Joe Biden should sign it into law, but they won’t because it doesn’t include any $$$ for Ukraine.

The Democrats are trying to shut down OUR government by putting the Ukraine military over our own.

I'm voting against the CR because I'm not going to be part of a system of failure.

I'm not going to fund a government that has a weaponized Department of Justice that is constantly prosecuting President Trump, pro-life protesters, and anybody they deem a political enemy, all while ignoring the murders and rapes and nonstop crime that happens here in our nation's capital.

I'm not going to fund a government that doesn't care about our own border, but that worships Ukraine. And I think every American knows why, because Joe Biden took millions of dollars when he was Vice President doing political favors for Burisma.

Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman pulled the fire alarm in the Cannon building this afternoon and interrupted the official proceedings of the House as Republicans worked to keep the government open.

I’m calling on the DOJ to prosecute him using the same law they used to prosecute J6 defendants for interfering with an official proceeding.

The Democrats literally will do anything to shut OUR government down because billions aren’t going to their favorite country: Ukraine.

Jamaal Bowman must be treated exactly the same as Jan 6 defendants.

He was a school principal. He knows exactly what pulling a fire alarm means.

He did it while the Dems were trying to stall for time for the Senate and the Dem whip had just called for a motion to adjourn.

My office is in the Cannon building. When Jamaal pulled the fire alarm, the entire building had to be evacuated.

Everyone had to go down the stairs to get out and I waited until my entire staff was out before I went to vote.

We couldn’t go back in for over an hour.

I remember last congress when 11 Republicans voted with the Democrats to kick me off committees.

I didn’t care about the democrat votes but the 11 republican votes stung.

Now my friend Matt Gaetz says he is going to make a motion to vacate our Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

And I saw in the news that other Republicans are now talking about expelling Matt Gaetz.

Here is how I see all of this.

As members of congress, we are each elected (hired) by the people of our districts to represent them and responsibly govern for the American people.

The electorate gave Republicans the majority this congress, which means we are in charge of responsibly making a budget and control where the American people’s hard earned tax dollars are spent and how.

But we only have 222 Republicans and it takes 218 to pass anything.

I can’t possibly explain to you how difficult it is to get 218 of us to agree on anything, I often compare it to that family argument of not being able to agree on where to eat dinner.

“I want this, no I want that, no I don’t want that..”

It never ends.

Here’s the bottom line.

Most people generally only care about 4 things.

Their kids (or pets)
Their bank accounts
Their jobs
And their weekends.

And when stupid politicians are screwing up anything to do with their 4 things, people get angry and rightfully so!

And right now, people are angry about a lot and I don’t blame them.

They are still angry at COVID shutdowns and mandates.

They’re suffering from Bidenomics that created crippling inflation and high interest rates.

They’re appalled at Democrat’s open border policies and the Biden Administration ceding our border control over to the Mexican cartels who are making billions from human trafficking and drug trafficking that is killing over 300 Americans daily.

They are terrified that the Washington war machine’s blood thirsty obsession of killing Russians is going to lead us into WWIII and they are fed up with billions of their own hard earned tax dollars going to Ukraine while Americans are suffering and have been enslaved into $33 Trillion in debt.

And all of these serious problems have been caused by stupid politicians in Washington and all of these serious problems are affecting the 4 main things people care about.

And most of all, people are tired of all the ridiculous drama while no one is solving the serious problems that are ripping our country apart at the seams.

I don’t blame people one bit for hating politicians and Washington DC.

And now while our federal government is once again floundering with less than 45 days left on another CR (borrowed money & borrowed time) and we still have to pass 8 more Appropriation bills, it’s going to be really hard to do that in normal times but now we’ve got to start the week off with a big family feud with a motion to vacate Kevin McCarthy and a movement to expel Matt Gaetz.

All of this has the Democrats, who America’s electorate fired last congress, giddy with opportunity to take full advantage of gleaning prizes for themselves in exchange for votes.

All of this now has the House of Representatives on the verge of chaos and will only leave our majority weakened and dangerously fractured.

But why are we here?

We are here because Congress operates on a calendar set up for producing annual failure.

With a September 30th fiscal year end, and a calendar that sends congress home all of August & half of September, it’s obvious why there’s usually an emergency CR to avoid a shutdown usually resulting in a Christmas omnibus which is really like a giant lump of coal in the American people’s stockings.

No wonder we’re $33T in debt.

Intentional systemic failure is something I have no respect for and refuse to be a part of.

This has to change.

What I see is a system of failure and a federal government that serves the world first and America last and my desire for wanting to fix it is why I ran for congress in the first place.

So I agree with Matt Gaetz that things must change, but I don’t agree that a motion to vacate will effectively create the changes needed to solve the intentional systemic failure that create the annual never ending CR’s and Christmas omnibus mega spending packages.

A mtv of our Speaker gives the upper hand to the Democrats, during dangerous times while we have been handed over under the presidency of an ailing old man ridden with dementia, whom has spent over 50 yrs in Washington seats of power corruptly enriching himself and his family by delivering policy deals to foreign investors.

And a Republican led effort to expel Matt Gaetz absolutely will not be tolerated by Republicans across the country.

I can guarantee you that.

Remember when 11 R’s voted against me and 10 R’s voted to impeach Pres Trump?

Both the mtv and expulsion plans are wrong.

The American people are relying on Republicans to get our acts together and hold all of those accountable who have and continue to hurt the 4 main things they care about - their kids, bank accounts, jobs, and weekends.

Republicans need to get off the power trips, stop the absurd drama, remember who the enemy is, stop fighting with each other, and get serious about solving the problems that produce annual systemic failure.

That requires real hard work.

And real hard work that is focused on putting America first, and ourselves last.

I was able to get all of the aid to Ukraine taken out so that we can focus on OUR military, our borders, and put America First.

A majority of the majority voted AGAINST supplemental aid to Ukraine. The House shouldn’t even vote on ANOTHER Ukraine aid package. #HastertRule

I introduced articles of impeachment on Joe Biden on his first day in office.

On Oversight, we are finally conducting an impeachment inquiry bc Kevin McCarthy launched it, and our country deserves the truth about Joe Biden.

If the Speaker is vacated, the House comes to a halt, no bills can be passed, nothing can be done until we elect another Speaker.

No one in our conference has stepped up to be Speaker other than Kevin McCarthy.

Ukraine is the most corrupt country in the world and the leaked memo from the WH proves Washington knows it, and last week for the first time the majority of the majority voted against funding for Ukraine.

Our border is wide open and millions of illegal immigrants are pouring in destroying our country.

And dysfunction will not solve any of these problems, we can only truly change things when Trump is back in the WH.

We have to save our country and sinking the ship before we reach our destination will imperil us all.
