He ordered rifle parts, tools, and items to increase the capacity of his gun on Amazon and had the packages shipped to his parents’ house under the fake name “Bob Dole.”

His father told the FBI their conversations were almost always about guns and that Thomas “had ulterior motives” that became clear “the minute he pulled that trigger.”

Six days before Butler, camera footage caught Crooks in the garage pacing, arms pumping, “frantically talking and not making any sense” while cleaning a gun.

He was trying to cover up his purchases using an alias. Crooks was training to take out Trump.
