Contacts are exchanged. Plans are made.

The real work is not only happening on stage.

Another break between speeches.

People leaning over tables, exchanging ideas, laughing, making plans and taking photos together.

What is happening here today feels less like a conference and more like the beginning of a real European network.

Afonso Gonçalves has just closed RESUM26.

The event is over, but the energy inside and outside the hall is still everywhere.

People are still standing together in groups, talking, exchanging contacts and continuing conversations that will probably last deep into the night.

Today, something historic happened in Portugal.

Now the real work begins. Remigration will become reality.
