Telegram automatically deletes stories with links for non-Premium users

For non-Premium users, the stories are automatically deleted after you share them by adding a link (including internal Telegram links, like t.me/…) to the caption. When you tap the "Post Story" button, the story is first uploaded and then deleted without any warning. After the story is deleted, it is not saved as a draft or in the archive.

IRAQ lifts Telegram block

The Iraqi Ministry of Communications has announced that the ban on the use of Telegram in the country will be lifted today, August 13.

“The decision is a response to the fact that Telegram has established a communication channel and expressed its willingness to block those who published citizens’ data,” the ministry said.

Some users noticed that Telegram started working again without using a proxy. This happened right after several suspicious channels and bots were blocked by app moderation.

However, it is worth noting the fact that Telegram did not send the personal data of the creators and administrators of blocked channels and bots to the Iraqi authorities, since such actions would violate the fundamental rules of the platform.

About a week ago, Telegram was blocked in Iraq (with the exception of the autonomous region of Kurdistan) and accused of being a channel for distributing leaked citizens' data and ignoring cooperation requests from the Iraqi government.
