In the modern mentality, materialism prevails in its truest sense: as the denial of all that which cannot be reduced to the material. Furthermore, the potential for tyranny is greatly limited as those who would abuse it with their incompetence cannot claim this authority for they lack the necessary qualifications. It is the nature of modernity to invert this order, to fracture this unity, and to usurp this authority, thus modernity can rightfully be called satanic in the true sense of the term and must be opposed in all its myriad forms.
