Important Update on Dokumen Pendaftaran Pelarian (DPP) Programme

UNHCR has been informed that the first phase of the Government’s Dokumen Pendaftaran Pelarian (DPP) programme will focus on registering individuals currently held in immigration detention centres.

Please note that anyone claiming to represent the Government to register refugees under the DPP programme OUTSIDE of detention facilities is not legitimate.

Since 2nd of February, we are introducing a new price of RM150 for the REMEDI Sponsorship Programme. This is still lower than the original premium of RM183.60.

Below are the common questions received so far :

Will the RM150 become the new fixed price?
To clarify, this price is only available for a limited period, until the sponsorship fund is fully utilized. Once the fund is exhausted, the premium will return to the original price of RM183.60. Please inform refugees and asylum seekers that they should expect to pay the full price after the sponsored quota is used up.

How long is the offer valid?
It is available only until the sponsorship fund is fully utilized.

How long does it usually take to get the REMEDI insurance card?
It normally takes around 45 to 60 days (previously 30 days)
