Leader in the Hamas movement Mahmoud Mardawi confirmed that what is happening in the occupation prisons, especially the Naqab prison during the blessed month of Ramadan, including escalating operations of abuse, medical negligence, and depriving prisoners of the most basic necessities of life such as food and drink, comes within an official aggressive approach adopted by the terrorist occupation government, aimed at breaking the will of the prisoners and undermining their steadfastness.

Mardawi added that the occupation bears full responsibility for the repercussions of this dangerous escalation and its consequences on the lives of the prisoners, especially the sick and the elderly among them, warning of an explosion of the situation inside the prisons.

He stressed that targeting the prisoners with these repressive policies will not succeed in subduing them, but will rather increase their steadfastness, noting that the prisoners will remain the title of the people's dignity and a living symbol of their resistance in the face of the jailer.

Mardawi called on the people in the West Bank, Al-Quds, the occupied interior, and all the free people of the nation to escalate popular and mass activities in support of the prisoners, and to ignite all arenas of confrontation in support of them, not to leave them alone, and not to leave their families in light of the difficult circumstances they are going through.

This outrage by the Kenyan state is not a sign of strength but one of weakness. It is turning to violent repression of our movement because silence, ridicule, sabotage and marginalisation have failed. It is targeting the militant leadership of the most class-conscious Kenyan workers and peasants because it fears their growing strength and influence.

But it is a well-known axiom that while you can intimidate and even kill a revolutionary, you cannot kill the revolution.

The poor everywhere are screaming under the weight of colonial superexploitation, inflation, immiseration, fascist authoritarianism, terrorist atrocities, communal pogroms and war. But as the crisis deepens and spreads, so too does the resistance.

As British workers, we know that our ruling class is intimately involved in supervising the comprador rule of the present Kenyan regime in the interests of Anglo-American finance capital.

The struggle of the Kenyan people is the same struggle of British workers against the same oppressing billionaire financier class – and our struggles must be joined if we are to achieve ultimate success.

The United States has launched yet another war drive against Iran, dressing it up in the familiar language of “security”.
Trump has been on the news, telling people that a nuclear Iran would threaten the world. But these imperialist countries doing the lecturing are the very ones that have spent decades bombing, invading and destabilising the region.

The United States invaded Iraq in 2003 on the well known lie of weapons of mass destruction. Weapons that were never found. The result was over a million dead and a shattered state.

The US invaded Afghanistan in 2001 and occupied it for twenty years, leaving behind tens of thousands of civilian deaths before withdrawing in chaos with no clear victory.

In 2011, the US and UK backed the NATO destruction of Libya, turning the most prosperous country in Africa into a failed state with open slave markets!

The United Kingdom marched in lockstep through Iraq and Afghanistan. British jets participated in the bombing of Libya. British arms manufacturers continue to supply weapons used in the bombardment of Yemen and Gaza.

Israel, meanwhile, possesses nuclear weapons but has never once agreed to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty. It routinely conducts airstrikes in Syria, has bombed targets in Lebanon, and maintains a system of apartheid over millions of Palestinians.

Since October 2023, Israel’s assault on the Gaza Strip has killed hundreds of thousands, displacing even more. They levelled hospitals, bombed refugee camps and cut off food, water and electricity to people who are completely under siege.

The International Court of Justice has recognised that there is a plausible case of genocide. Yet the bombs continue to fall! World wide outrage about this murderous campaign, yet people are still being killed. This genocide is funded and politically shielded by Washington and backed diplomatically by London.

So when Trump and Washington claims Iran is a threat because it might have nuclear weapons, it rings hollow. The real record shows it is the imperialists who have actually used overwhelming military force across the region, who has toppled governments, who has armed proxy wars, and who has turned entire countries into rubble.

The truth is clear. The accusations of the threat of Iran are lies to cover their own evils. The so-called bringers of democracy and security are the primary source of instability and war in the Middle East.
