When, in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possessed,
Desiring this man’s art and that man’s scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least;
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
(Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth) sings hymns at heaven’s gate;
For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.

- William Shakespeare

One key principle that every Marxist must adhere to is that everything, no matter how complex, can be explained.

Imran Khan's family is demanding "proof of life" and immediate access to him after weeks of being denied visits, which has fueled intense online rumours of his death in custody. Pakistani authorities and the government have officially denied the death rumours and insist he is alive and healthy.

Khan's family, including his son Kasim Khan and sisters, has been unable to contact him for over a month and a half, despite court orders allowing visits. They are demanding immediate, transparent access to verify his well-being.

Kasim Khan claims his father is being held in complete isolation in a "death cell" with no phone calls, no meetings, and no access to sunlight or ventilation.

The family and his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), state the Pakistani government and its handlers will be held legally, morally, and internationally accountable for Khan's safety.

Khan's sister, Aleema Khan, has filed a contempt petition against jail officials for allegedly defying court orders on visitation rights.

The camera did not just "document an incident" in Jenin today, it recorded a war crime in broad daylight: the cold-blooded execution of two unarmed Palestinian youths. And this is not an isolated case. The same camera has captured dozens of executions in Gaza.
According to @EuroMedH, the Israeli army has executed at least 7,000 unarmed Palestinians, including children holding white flags; children literally signalling surrender, yet still shot dead.

Let's be very clear: The Geneva Conventions explicitly prohibit the killing of anyone who is hors de combat: unarmed civilians, detainees, the wounded, surrendering individuals.

Article 3 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states:
No one in custody or under control of an occupying force may be executed.

No one may be murdered, tortured, or subjected to cruel treatment. Extra-judicial executions are a grave breach; a war crime.

What we are seeing is not "crossfire". It is Nazi-style street executions of people who should be protected by international law the moment they are captured, unarmed, or attempting to surrender.

International law is not ambiguous. It doesn't say "unless the victim is Palestinian". It doesn't say "unless Israel claims self-defense". It doesn't say "unless the world is too cowardly to enforce it".

The Israeli occupation army has systematically violated every core protection of wartime conduct; targeting civilians, executing detainees, killing those raising white flags, disappearing prisoners, and erasing entire families. These are grave breaches, punishable under international law, yet the world watches in silence.

If the Geneva Conventions are allowed to be shredded like this, then they mean nothing. And every government turning its head away is complicit in the normalization of war crimes.

Take a step back, take a deep breath and call it what it is:
A documented campaign of executions against unarmed Palestinians. A crime against humanity unfolding in real time.

🔴Highlights from the statement of the Supreme Spiritual Authority of the Alawite community, Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal

📌 I extend my gratitude to all Syrian communities who stood with us during the Dignity Sit-in.

📌 I especially recognize our brothers, the Bani Ma‘rouf — the Druze of Jabal Bashan, the Muwahhidun.

📌 To the Alawites — my children: with every step you took, you shook the ground beneath their feet. You carried the banner of honor and dignity. Your weapon is the word; their weapon is bullets. Your strength is unity, steadfastness, and resilience; theirs is division, hatred, and terrorism.

📌 Our message has reached the entire world, exposing the scale of the violations and presenting our legitimate demands.

📌 Our message also made clear our right to self-determination through federalism and political decentralization, the need to stop the killing, and the release of thousands of civilian and military detainees.

📌 We will not accept a centralized political Islamic emirate that slaughters us based on identity — even if it pretends to grant us life as some kind of favor.

📌 What happened yesterday is not a passing event. It is the spark of something that will not be extinguished, and the end of an era defined by silence and submission.

📌 We ask only for what is right — nothing more, nothing less.

📌 I affirm that any attack on the Alawite community will not be met with silence. It will be met with a flood — with bare chests standing before your poisonous rifles.

📌 We will not back down until all our demands are achieved. This is a promise with no turning back. We do not fear death, and we will not bow.

Our comrades Ian, John and Chris were at the Your Party conference today in Liverpool. Handing out leaflets and hoping to have some decent conversations with workers still stuck in the reformist dead end of social democracy.

Amusingly Your Party dignitary Zarah Sultana found herself accidentally posing for pictures by our CPGB-ML flag 🚩🚩🚩

Everything about "Your Party" stinks of the same Labour-esque rot that has dominated the unions and the soft-left in Britain for bloody decades. It’s the exact same model: petit bourgeois managers playing at radicalism while fighting each other for control of mailing lists, donation pots, and committee titles.

Strip away the branding and you’re left with another Momentum, all hype, no class base, no discipline, and no much needed break from parliamentarism. A personality project built by ex-Labour MPs, not a party built by workers. The moment the money and the mailing lists became an issue, it collapsed into the same old factionalism, petty prejudice, and bureaucratic turf-wars.

If this is the “new left alternative,” then we’ve learned nothing. Reformism repackaged is still reformism. And a party built from the top down, without working-class organisation at its core, will always rot the same way: from the inside, at the hands of its own “progressive” gatekeepers.

Your Party isn’t a departure from Labour.
It’s Labourism in new colours — and the smell gives it away instantly.

The modern "lefts" use of fascism to describe the racist, reactionary, nationalist, far right shows a complete ignorance of what a fascist organisation looks like. If you doubt this then compare and contrast them with Britain's only genuinely fascist party, Oswald Moseley's BUF, the paramilitary Blackshirts. A party that openly called itself fascist, had a coherent ideological position and a paramilitary organisational structure.
To call the modern far right fascist is as ridiculous as calling trots communist!

A moving and inspiring speech given by Comrade Vikki at our recent meeting to commemorate the 108th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution.

The Nazis weren’t just fighting an army – they were fighting the united consciousness of the Soviet people. A people whose wealth was shared, whose labour built their future, and whose unity had been tempered by two decades of socialist construction.

The Communist Party of China (CPC) is promoting an approach to international affairs that aims to put the principles of the UN charter into practice.

What stands in the way of such a development is not the will of the peoples, but the rabid warmongering and endemic supremacism of the imperialist ruling classes.

Given the USA’s vice-like grip over the UN, it remains to be seen whether that institution can possibly be reformed, or whether the emerging anti-imperialist world will find itself forced to simply set up new mechanisms and institutions elsewhere.

Last week I spoke with Garland Nixon about the so-called ‘peace plan’ for Ukraine and why all the argumentation and speculation over its details remains in the world of narrative management and fantastical/wishful projection. Until such time as the defeated Nato camp is prepared to sign up to an enforceable agreement that resolves the key drivers of the war, it is battlefield realities that will shape the outcome.

And on the battlefield, Ukrainian proxies and their Nato backers are being roundly defeated.

No matter what Trump says or does, or how many tantrums the Europeans throw, Ukraine will be demilitarised. It will be denazified. The Russian-speaking population in the country will have its rights protected. Ukraine will not be joining the EU or Nato. There will be no western bases or military advisers.

And IF the actor-stooge ‘president’ Zelensky finds a way to escape the wrath of his angry people and his fascist henchmen when the frontlines collapse, my best guess is that it will be in a chopper full of dollars a la Hamid Karzai.

We also reflected on Garland’s recent trip to Russia and Belarus and the things he saw in both countries. In particular, the civilian war effort being run by volunteers to support their soldiers on the frontlines in Russia. And the way in which much of Soviet industrial, agricultural, technical, educational and social structures have been preserved in Belarus.

As Garland says: “What we are told about these countries and what we are told about socialism is not just a lie, it's the ABSOLUTE OPPOSITE of the truth.” (Youtube)

The Trump administration has reportedly set a December 31, 2025, deadline for the Lebanese government to disarm the resistance group Hezbollah.

According to diplomatic sources, should the Lebanese government fail to comply with this demand, it could grant Israel the cover to launch a renewed and large-scale military campaign against Hezbollah.

A year has now passed since the West triumphantly declared Syria ‘liberated’ from President Bashar al-Assad.
Yet what does this “liberation” look like in material reality?

The north stands under the boot of Turkish occupation.
The south remains carved up under Zionist control.
Western-armed jihadist factions and HTS warlords run riot along the coast.
American troops still squat in the deserts around Palmyra, guarding oil fields as if they were their own colonial property.
Across the Euphrates, a Kurdish client administration survives only through US protection.

And amidst all this dismemberment of a sovereign nation, the “new government” boasts of a fresh delivery of police cars — tribute from their foreign patrons.

This is not liberation.
This is imperialist domination, carving up a nation that dared resist it — while those who opposed western interference and fought to keep Syria whole are painted as the villains
The signals of panic are all over everything that comes out of Galloways WPB these days. They have practically zero activists on the ground and are a party that now exists mainly on social media, mostly via Galloways weekly chat show. The WPB are now effectively a one man band, a cult of personality and little else. With Galloway having now exiled himself overseas following his brief detention under the deeply reactionary (and ludicrously titled) "anti-terror" laws these problems will only intensify. Now he is floating alliances with the hiedous Green party we can clearly see the opportunism for which Galloway is notorious. That a party which calls themselves 'common sense' socialists could be floating alliances with the Greens is a total capitulation.

No one can claim not to know what the Greens are all about now. They have been in power in Scotland where they supported the destruction of the Scottish industrial base and prioritised gender ideology to the extent where they supported putting men in women's prisons. They have run Brighton and Bristol councils where their record was just as anti worker as Labour or the Tories. Polanski is on record as being a rabid supporter of NATO and the war on Russia. Galloway has previously (and correctly) criticised the war on Russia but now wants to align with its biggest supporters on the left. So are all Mr Galloways positions so easily reversed? If so, why should any worker trust a single thing he says.

It also must be said that the Greens everywhere oppose nuclear power, fossil fuels, and the use of petrol chemicals, a primitivist clarion call for deindustrialisation. How can WPB square that with 'socialism'? Only one answer, blatant opportunism, turbo charged by a realisation that the party is sinking into the dustbin of historical irrelevance. This is just further proof that all those who seek to recreate British social democracy will end up sinking into the worst kind of opportunism. The working class deserves much better than this farce.
