Guys…. Legit question -

Is Barack Obama eligible to run as VP?

I’m aware of the Constitution but hang with me here…

The Clinton’s are backing Kamala, but the Obama’s said they will not.

What if (fill in the blank) runs for President and Obama goes as VP? (Essentially making it where Barack runs the show)

The 22nd Amendment states - "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice."

Additionally, the 12th Amendment includes "no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

Keep in mind, we are dealing with snakes here. Check this argument brought up back in 2000 that is recycling in an article published only days ago…

Michael Dorf, a law professor at Cornell University, argued in a 2000 column for CNN that a theoretical ticket of Al Gore and Bill Clinton was constitutionally permitted.

"Bill Clinton can serve as vice president, because the 22nd Amendment's prohibition on running for a third presidential term is not a condition of the office of president," Dorf wrote.

It goes on to say:

Not all constitutional scholars agree as Gary Nordlinger, an adjunct professor at The George Washington University, told CBS affiliate WUSA9 in 2016 that a twice-elected former president is ineligible.

"If anyone tried this," he said. "It would for sure end up at the Supreme Court. Because that’s who decides conflicts within the constitution.”

This would, IMO, qualify as a [Consitutional crisis].

I’m not saying it’s legal, I’m saying anything’s possible with these ghouls as they’re clearly backed into a corner here… they’ll do anything they can to regain control and I see the possible loop hole they could take advantage of.

Has anyone else has seen articles or debates on a possible scenario like this? It’s worth looking into, especially after today where the Obamas moved to not endorse Kamala.
