China has intensified its intelligence gathering activities near Japan amid Tokyo's militarization: From September 3rd to 7th, the Northern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) dispatched reconnaissance aircraft, specifically Yun-9s from the 47th Regiment of the 16th Division, five times into the airspace over the East China Sea, near Nagasaki Prefecture and Okinawa. @RedDefenceWing

Debris from one of the Chinese CH-4 reconnaissance and strike drones, belonging to the Saudis. The Houthis shot down 4 of these drones yesterday.
It is also reported that the Houthis are conducting a fairly successful offensive towards the strategically important port of Mocha on the Red Sea coast. Saudi mercenaries and Yemeni collaborators, with the support of Saudi aviation, are in turn attempting a counteroffensive in the Taiz area to restrain Houthi activity.

China has begun building a replica of an American destroyer for testing its own weapons.
New satellite images, dated September 7th, show the modernization of a Chinese target ship. A superstructure has appeared on its deck, which visually resembles an American Arleigh Burke-class destroyer or modern warships of Japan and South Korea.
The ship is located at the Jiangsu Dayang Marine Equipment shipyard in the city of Taizhou, Jiangsu province. It is here that target ships and electronic simulation complexes are built, which are used by the PLA Navy to train crews and test new weapons systems.
The main goal of the modernization is to bring the tests as close as possible to real combat conditions. Simulating the silhouette, size, and reflective surfaces allows researchers to test how radar stations, missile guidance systems, drones, and other reconnaissance equipment detect, track, and engage ships.

New BlackSky Satellite Captures Images of Chinese Bombers
The American company BlackSky has demonstrated a new level of real-time space intelligence. The fifth satellite of the Gen-3 generation, after being launched into orbit, transmitted its first reconnaissance images in less than 20 hours after liftoff. The first image, taken on September 11th, shows the Guiyang airfield in China, featuring Hong-6 bombers of the People's Liberation Army Navy. The Gen-3 satellite provides a resolution of 35 cm, allowing for the detailed observation of ground objects. Built-in AI algorithms automatically detect and classify equipment, aircraft, and ships.

China launches the 26th group of "Qianfan" satellites
The Taiyuan center successfully launched another group of satellites on September 16 from a launch platform in the East China Sea.
The heavy-lift "Gravity-1" rocket placed nine satellites from the "Qianfan" constellation and an experimental satellite for testing the EUHT technology into orbit

China is likely building the first submarine drone carrier.
🔻 Satellite images show that an unusual vessel is being constructed at the Shanghai shipyard "Hudong-Zhonghua", which could become the world's first specialized floating base for large unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs). According to Naval News, the ship has a design that is not typical for conventional landing platforms. In the stern, there is a submersible platform with a lifting and launching mechanism, allowing UUVs to be deployed and recovered directly from the sea. Inside the hull, there is reportedly a hangar that can accommodate approximately four full-size vehicles or more of a smaller class. To date, China is already testing at least two types of large UUVs</a> that are up to 40 meters long. In size, they are 6-8 times larger than the American Orca UUV.
