🇺🇸 The USA is deploying nuclear microreactors at key air bases

The US Air Force has identified air bases Buckley (Colorado, USA) and Malmstrom (Montana, USA) as priority sites for deploying nuclear microreactors as part of the ANPI (Advanced Nuclear Power for Installations) program.

The program is being implemented jointly with the Defense Innovation Unit (Mountain View, California, USA) and involves the deployment of commercial microreactors, which will be built, operated, and maintained by private contractors.

The choice of bases is due to their infrastructure, availability of space, and critical role in the defense system. Buckley provides space and reconnaissance operations, while Malmstrom is one of the key bases for intercontinental ballistic missiles.

The reactors are expected to be deployed by 2030 or earlier. Their task is to ensure autonomous and sustainable energy supply to facilities, eliminating dependence on civilian power grids.

⚔️🇮🇳 🇺🇿 Anti-terrorist exercise of India and Uzbekistan “Dustlik-7”

From April 12 to 25, the 7th series of bilateral military maneuvers “Dustlik-7” (DUSTLIK-VII) between India and Uzbekistan is being held.

The opening ceremony took place at the Gurumsarai training ground (Namangan, Uzbekistan).

The exercise is aimed at strengthening the interaction of the ground forces and air forces of the two countries in the conditions of operations in a semi-urbanized area.

The Indian contingent includes 60 soldiers of the Mahar infantry regiment battalion, as well as units of the Indian Air Force. From the Uzbek side — soldiers of the ground forces and air forces of Uzbekistan.

🔷“Dustlik” is an annual Indian-Uzbek initiative, alternating between the countries. The previous exercise was held in April 2025 in Pune (Maharashtra state, India).

The main theme of the exercises is joint actions in the conditions of conducting sub-conventional operations: territory capture, organization of a joint action center at the battalion level, population control, raids, mop-up operations, use of air assets.
